Chocolate chips: I prefer dark chocolate chips, but, semi- sweet will work just fine.

Coconut Oil: Check out the recipe card for my preferred brand.

Evaporated Milk: You will only need 1/2 cup. Be sure to store the leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator.

How to Make and a Few Notes:

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt chocolate chips. Add in evaporated milk and coconut oil and continue until the mixture is fully melted and smooth. Keep a close eye on it and stir frequently. Let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.

Can I use the microwave instead? Yes. However, you will have to melt the mixture in 30 second intervals. This will help prevent burning.

Storage: Store your leftover dip in a covered container in the refrigerator. When you are ready to enjoy it again, simply heat it up in a saucepan or in the microwave.
