notes

Make sure your butter is softened (yes, I sound like a broken record!). This gives your cookies the soft texture.

Can I Use Quick Cooking Oats Instead?

Yes. However, they are different. Quick cooking oats are finer in texture. Your cookies may have a little less oat flavor too them.

Storage

Keep any leftovers in a covered container. If desired, you can freeze them too! Let them cool completely after baking. Then, store in a freezer safe (covered), container or storage bag. They will stay good for several months.
