Can I Use “Natural” Peanut Butter?

Yes. However, the oil content for the natural variety does have more oil. So, you may need to add more powdered sugar to absorb the excess.

How Much Does This Make?

This recipe makes approx 1 & 1/2 cups of frosting. Enough for a 9 x 13 cake or 12 cupcakes.

Storage

Keep any leftover frosting in a covered container in the refrigerator. It is best used within a week.

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2-3 TBSP milk

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat butter and peanut butter until creamy. Gradually, add in powdered sugar and beat until fluffy. Add in milk and beat until desired consistency is reached.
  2. Store any leftover frosting in a covered container in the refrigerator. It's best eaten within a week.
