Recipe Notes
Can This Recipe Be Doubled?
Yes, very easily. I found that about 2 cups of melted chocolate chips will coat about 12-15 pretzel rods. If you need more/less, the recipe can be doubled or cut in half.
What Kind of Chocolate Chips Should I Use?
I used a dark chocolate variety, but, you can go with semi sweet, milk chocolate or even a white chocolate. Go with your favorite!
Melting Chocolate
You can melt your chocolate in saucepan over medium heat or in the microwave. If you choose to microwave, do so in 30 second intervals. This will help prevent it from burning. Also, be sure your bowl is microwave safe. 👍
Decorate Your Pretzels…A few Ideas!
- Be sure to decorate your pretzels before the chocolate sets.
- Sprinkles
- A drizzle of additional chocolate
- Fun googley eyes
- Mini chocolate chips
Storage
Store any leftovers in a covered container. If your weather is warm/humid, be sure to store them in the refrigerator.
