Brownie Parfaits- Big Green House

Ingredients Needed:

  • Brownies
  • Cream cheese
  • Marshmallow fluff
  • Whipped topping
  • Chocolate frosting or additional whipped topping

Brownies: I made a boxed mix of brownies for an 8 x 8 baking pan. You may use more or less, but, it’s a good place to begin. Of course, you can also make your brownies homemade or buy a batch from your local bakery.

Marshmallow Fluff: Want to make it homemade? It’s really easy. Find out how.

Whipped Topping: AKA “Cool Whip”. Any brand or variety ( low fat/fat free, etc) will work. Just be sure it’s thawed beforehand.

Garnish: I topped ours with a package of store bought chocolate frosting. However, you can use additional whipped topping or your favorite homemade chocolate frosting.

Recipe Notes:

  • Serving : I was able to layer 5- 8 ounce mason jars ( see recipe card) with the below recipe. However, you can use something larger or smaller, depending on your needs. You can also use 1 large bowl and make it a trifle.
  • Keep any leftovers in the refrigerator.

Prep Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 x 8 baking pan, cooked brownies, cut into bite size pieces.

FOR FILLING:

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • your favorite chocolate frosting or additional whipped topping, for garnish

Instructions

  1. To Make Filling: Beat cream cheese with marshmallow fluff until combined. Fold in whipped topping.
  2. In a jar, add a layer of brownie bites. Then, add a layer of cream cheese filling. Continue until the jar is filled.
  3. If desired, garnish with your favorite chocolate frosting or additional whipped topping.
  4. Keep any leftovers in the refrigerator.
