  • Creamy peanut butter
  • Chocolate chips
  • Butter

Do I Have To Use “Cheerios”?

Nope. You can use a brand equivalent or a generic version. You could also try using a flavored Cheerios for these. For example, frosted, chocolate or chocolate-peanut butter.

Recipe Notes & Tips

You can use a large bowl or large plastic storage bag to coat the cereal with powdered sugar. Important: Be sure your bowl as a tight fitting lid or your bag is securely closed before giving it all a shake. I know from experience…powdered sugar all over your kitchen is not fun (or easy) to clean up.

These are sweet pieces that you can choose to add in. A few ideas are flavored baking chips, chocolate coated pretzels, mixed nuts, chopped up candy bars or candy coated candies.

Keep any leftovers in a covered container. Don’t worry about refrigerating it, unless it’s hot or humid in your area.
