As previously mentioned, my goal with this blog is share a variety of sweet treats, not only the traditional butter, flour and sugar. But, those that may not contain flour, refined sugar or as with today’s recipe, dairy.

So many people are dairy free, whether it be for health reasons or just a personal choice. Either way, they still may love their chocolate fudge. 🍫 ❤️

Also, even if you aren’t typically a person who is dairy free, you will still love this fudge. So, don’t be afraid to try it.

Ingredients Needed:

  • Almond milk
  • Dairy free chocolate chips
  • Plant based butter
  • Vanilla
  • Coconut palm sugar

No Coconut Palm Sugar? Go ahead and use regular white sugar.

Alternative to Almond Milk: Soy Milk

Dairy Free Chocolate Chips? Yes, they exist! Check out the recipe card for the brand I like. You can also check the organic/natural food aisle in the grocery store.

Plant Based Butter? I like to use Country Crock. It’s not very expensive and has been easy to find in many of the grocery stores that I’ve shopped at. Check out your butter section at your local store and see what they have..you may be surprised!

Make Your Fudge:

  • First, line your loaf pan with foil. Then, grease the foil.
  • Next, in a bowl, add chocolate chips, softened butter and vanilla.
  • In a saucepan, heat milk and sugar. While whisking the mixture continually, let it come to a boil. Keep it boiling for 7 minutes and keep on whisking!
  • Remove it from the heat and pour into the bowl with your chocolate chips & butter. Whisk it quickly and keep on whisking until it’s smooth & melted.
  • Spread the mixture into your prepared pan. Do this immediately! This fudge sets up pretty quick.
  • Place it in the fridge and let it set. This should take about an hour. Be sure to keep any leftovers in the refrigerator.

Enjoy-
