Can I Use Any Flavor Cake Mix?
Yes. Any flavor/brand will work. You simply need to use a standard size box ( 15-18 oz).
Angel Food Cake Mix
You can use any brand of dry angel food cake mix. For this recipe to work, you will need to use about a 16 oz size package and make sure the mix only calls for water as an ingredient.
What Size Dish Should I Use?
A small ramekin ( about 1-2 ounces in size) or a mug. Don’t forget to grease it with non-stick cooking spray beforehand! *note: pictured are two cakes

No fuss, no muss! An easy individual microwave cake that can satisfy your sweet tooth is about a minute. Eat it plain or top it with your favorite frosting!
Ingredients
- 1- standard size box, dry cake mix (15-18 oz) (any flavor)
- 1- box angel food cake, dry mix (15-`6 oz) * see note
- Water
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together both dry mixes until fully combined. Store the mix in a covered container. It will be good for several months.
Make Cake:
- Grease a small ramekin or mug. Then, add in 3 tablespoons of dry mix and 2 tablespoons of water. Mix well. Microwave for 1 minute.
- It's best to let it cool for about a minute before eating. If you are frosting, let it cool about 5 -10 minutes beforehand.
